One Rust binary to drive Hanzo: identity (multi-identity, gh-style switch), network, wallet, secrets (kms), billing, node, cluster, and the session-aware `hanzo code` coding wrapper. Talks to Hanzo cloud over /v1; the gateway derives the org from the JWT owner claim, so the CLI never sends one. Clean root. This repository previously carried the history of a fork of Aider-AI/aider (Paul Gauthier, 2023) — the Python pair-programmer that was rebranded hanzo-dev and had the Rust CLI grafted on top. The Rust work reused aider's own directories (assets/, README, LICENSE), so its commits could not be lifted out of aider's 10k-commit history cleanly. hanzoai/cli is Rust now, like hanzoai/mcp and hanzoai/dev; the canonical hanzo-dev Python lives in python-sdk. The complete prior history (aider fork + the grafted Rust commits) is preserved and recoverable at tag archive/aider-fork. Nothing was lost; the tree was made honest about what it is. 188 tests. Zero Python.
