controller/sharding/consistent was the last minio import. It now takes the hanzos3 fork at v1.0.0, which sits on the SAME commit this used to pin (3f5f724cb5b1) with a go.mod added and zero .go files changed. That matters because this is consistent hashing for shard assignment: a different digest would silently reassign every shard. Same bytes in, same bytes out. Upstream blake2b-simd predates modules, so it can only be pinned as a pseudo-version and can only be redirected with a `replace` — which Go ignores in a non-main module and so never reaches anything depending on this repo. The fork having a real module path is what makes a plain require possible. The go directive moves 1.26.4 -> 1.26.5 and that is NOT this change: this repo's own ./gitops-engine submodule already declares 1.26.5 while the parent said 1.26.4, so a plain `go mod tidy` on unmodified origin/master produces exactly the same line. Verified in a separate untouched worktree before accepting it. Worth fixing on its own, in the submodule, rather than inside a dependency swap. build passes, and ./controller/sharding/... passes.
