`turbo run build --filter=@hanzo/esign-remix` fails its typecheck with

error TS2307: Cannot find module 'server/utils/get-loader-session'
error TS2307: Cannot find module 'server/context'
error TS2307: Cannot find module 'server/router'

All three files exist — apps/remix/server/context.ts, server/router.ts,
server/utils/get-loader-session.ts. The problem is that they are imported as
NON-RELATIVE specifiers, and a bare specifier has no root to resolve against
unless it is named in `paths` or `baseUrl` is set. Neither was true, so tsc
looked for an npm package called `server`.

Added `"server/*": ["./server/*"]` rather than setting baseUrl. baseUrl would
change resolution for every bare specifier in the project, letting any
top-level directory shadow a package of the same name; this maps exactly the
one prefix that needs it. paths-without-baseUrl already works in this config —
the existing `~/*` entry relies on it.

Verified by resolving each specifier through the tsconfig's own path rules:
all three land on the real files. A full tsc run is not possible in a bare
clone (no node_modules — it stops earlier on missing @types/node), so CI is
what exercises the whole typecheck.

Open in StackBlitz

Features

  • 🚀 Server-side rendering
  • ⚡️ Hot Module Replacement (HMR)
  • 📦 Asset bundling and optimization
  • 🔄 Data loading and mutations
  • 🔒 TypeScript by default
  • 🎉 TailwindCSS for styling
  • 📖 React Router docs

Getting Started

Installation

Install the dependencies:

npm install

Development

Start the development server with HMR:

npm run dev

Your application will be available at http://localhost:5173.

Building for Production

Create a production build:

npm run build

Deployment

Docker Deployment

This template includes three Dockerfiles optimized for different package managers:

  • Dockerfile - for npm
  • Dockerfile.pnpm - for pnpm
  • Dockerfile.bun - for bun

To build and run using Docker:

# For npm
docker build -t my-app .

# For pnpm
docker build -f Dockerfile.pnpm -t my-app .

# For bun
docker build -f Dockerfile.bun -t my-app .

# Run the container
docker run -p 3000:3000 my-app

The containerized application can be deployed to any platform that supports Docker, including:

  • AWS ECS
  • Google Cloud Run
  • Azure Container Apps
  • Digital Ocean App Platform
  • Fly.io
  • Railway

DIY Deployment

If you're familiar with deploying Node applications, the built-in app server is production-ready.

Make sure to deploy the output of npm run build

├── package.json
├── package-lock.json (or pnpm-lock.yaml, or bun.lockb)
├── build/
│ ├── client/ # Static assets
│ └── server/ # Server-side code

Styling

This template comes with Tailwind CSS already configured for a simple default starting experience. You can use whatever CSS framework you prefer.
