patches/ held one file: a retyping of @ai-sdk/google-vertex 3.0.81 from the V2 provider interfaces to V3, from when the provider package had moved and the vertex package had not. What is installed now is 5.0.86, which imports ProviderV4 and LanguageModelV4 itself, so the patch named a file that no longer exists in that shape and every install ended in "Failed to apply patch" — printed, and ignored. With nothing left to apply, patch-package and its postinstall go too. Co-authored-by: Hanzo Dev <[email protected]>
