The rebrand renamed one side of things and left the other, so several tests were
asserting that the rename had NOT happened.
jobparser a subtest about UPPER-CASING had its expectation rewritten to
GIT_DEPLOY_KEY while its input still said gitea_deploy_key, so it
asserted that upper-casing also renames. It does not and must not.
composer expected hanzo-composer-package.zip from a fixture whose package
name is still gitea/composer-package.
markup asserted :gitea: renders from /assets/img/emoji/gitea.png. The
code was already correct — the asset is git.png and CustomEmojis
is {git, gitlab, github} — so this was the last thing still asking
for an emoji that does not exist.
actions asserted the error says "this Gitea instance"; it says "this Hanzo
Git instance".
git.png was the Gitea mascot with a new filename — renaming the file does not
debrand the picture. Replaced with a generic branch glyph: a trunk, three nodes,
one branch. No vendor mascot, no trademarked wordmark.
Two things that were not rebrand fallout:
tests/integration did not COMPILE. routers/api/actions moved off protobuf to
plain structs with their own MarshalJSON, and this file still built requests
with protojson/wrapperspb/timestamppb — types the handlers no longer accept.
Now json.Marshal and the local StringValue/Int64Value/Timestamp. The Makefile
keeps a deliberate compile-only gate for this package (test-integration-build)
precisely so it cannot rot; it had rotted anyway.
TestGetDirectorySize hardcoded `repo.Size = 8165 // real size on the disk`.
The fixture repo is not frozen, so the number was a lie the moment anything in
it changed; it had drifted to 8141. It now walks the tree and compares, which
is what the assertion was for.
And the Makefile still pointed at module path gitea.dev/ in 11 places while the
module is github.com/hanzoai/git — so GO_TEST_PACKAGES, the migration tests and
every integration target resolved nothing.
Unit and service trees green.
