The detail page showed one 16:9 box whatever the design. A phone layout in a desktop-shaped frame reads as a crop of a website, not as the design. Desktop keeps the bare /screenshots/<name>.png. Tablet and phone read <name>-tablet.png and <name>-mobile.png beside it, and the frame takes that capture's own geometry — 16:9, 834x1112, 390x844 — at a common height, so the switch reads as a change of device rather than of scale. A template with no capture at that size falls back to the desktop one, letterboxed rather than cropped, so a variant that does not exist yet is never a broken image. app/lib/shot.ts is the one place a screenshot path is built; the home grid, both gallery grids and the 404 card go through it too.
