v1.17.2 is the fleet standard and agent sat seven minors back on v1.10.0. Neither API break in that span reaches this package: AdaptNetHTTPFunc was removed (agent adapts no net/http handler) and zip.Load was curried to Load(p Plugin, prefixes ...string) (agent loads no plugin). agent uses only zip.App / zip.Ctx / zip.Err* / zip.Errorf plus its own Mount seam, so the move is go.mod-only. http v0.3.1 rides along. It keeps v0.3.0's length-prefixed header frame and only drops the remaining decode allocations, so there is no wire break against peers already on v0.3.x — but a v0.2.x peer still cannot talk to one, which is why the fleet moves together.
