A clean checkout could not build. `pnpm install` runs prepare, prepare runs tsup, and tsup's dts step died with TS5101: Option 'baseUrl' is deprecated. Our tsconfig never sets baseUrl; tsup 8.5.1, the last release, adds `baseUrl: "."` to the dts compiler options itself, and TypeScript 6 refuses the option. So the declarations no longer go through tsup. It builds the JS, and its onSuccess runs `tsc -p tsconfig.build.json`: tsconfig.json plus emitDeclarationOnly, tests left out. tsup waits for that process and exits with its code, so a type error still fails the build. dist/ keeps a .d.ts and .d.ts.map per entry. The .d.cts copies go; the exports map never named them, since `types` comes first in every subpath. Co-authored-by: Hanzo Dev <[email protected]>
