typescript 7.0.2 is the native compiler, so this is a pin and not a second toolchain. The extension host moved off moduleResolution node10, which TS7 removed: module and moduleResolution are now both node16, and @types/node is named in types since TS7 no longer sweeps in every installed @types. Both settings are neutral on 5.9.3. tsc --noEmit over src and the extension host: 0 diagnostics before and after. Co-authored-by: Hanzo Dev <[email protected]>
