Vadim AlekseevandGitHub 8169bc7ce4 app/vminsert/common: reduce allocations when writing metadata 
Bug was introduced at 6c58091b20, while porting change from cluster branch.

This commit properlyslice `mms
[]metricsmetadata.Row` slice . Previously, every WriteMetadata call triggered a
slice allocation.
This shouldn't significantly impact overall performance, so I haven't
included benchmarks.
