1948f5b4ba fix(create-next-app): link to app dir docs in next-env.d.ts in app dir templates (#68534)
Fixes #68533

A link to docs in `next-dev.d.ts` linked to the pages router docs in app
router templates. This was confusing, because some sections on this page
only work with pages router. This PR fixes that

c206d89ec2 feat(eslint): enhance no-unwanted-polyfill w/ new endpoints (#62719)
The PR adds the new `polyfill.io` instance endpoint (from Fastly and
Cloudflare) to the `eslint-plugin-next`'s `no-unwanted-polyfillio`
rules, so these new endpoints can be detected by the rule.

---

`polyfill.io` was acquired by **a China-based CDN company** "Funnull",
see [the announcement from the `polyfill.io` domain owner's
Twitter](https://x.com/JakeDChampion/status/1761315227008643367) and
https://github.com/polyfillpolyfill/polyfill-service/issues/2834.
Despite Funnull's claims of operating in the United States, the
predominance of Simplified Chinese on its website suggests otherwise,
and it turns out that **"Funnull" is notorious for providing service for
the betting and pornography industries**.

[The original creator of the `polyfill.io` has voiced his concern on
Twitter](https://twitter.com/triblondon/status/1761852117579427975). And
since the acquisition, numerous issues have emerged
(https://github.com/polyfillpolyfill/polyfill-service/issues/2835,
https://github.com/polyfillpolyfill/polyfill-service/issues/2838,
https://github.com/alist-org/alist/issues/6100), rendering the
`polyfill.io` service **extremely unstable**. Since then, Fastly
([Announcement](https://community.fastly.com/t/new-options-for-polyfill-io-users/2540))
and Cloudflare
([Announcement](https://blog.cloudflare.com/polyfill-io-now-available-on-cdnjs-reduce-your-supply-chain-risk))
has hosted their own instances of `polyfill.io` service.

StevenandGitHub 4466ba436b chore(examples): use default prettier for examples/templates (#60530)
## Description
This PR ensures that the default prettier config is used for examples
and templates.

This config is compatible with `prettier@3` as well (upgrading prettier
is bigger change that can be a future PR).

## Changes
- Updated `.prettierrc.json` in root with `"trailingComma": "es5"` (will
be needed upgrading to prettier@3)
- Added `examples/.prettierrc.json` with default config (this will
change every example)
- Added `packages/create-next-app/templates/.prettierrc.json` with
default config (this will change every template)

leung018andGitHub 66597be8a7 Add .yarn/install-state.gz to .gitignore (#56637)
### Reason for making this change
https://yarnpkg.com/getting-started/qa#:~:text=yarn%2Finstall%2Dstate.,your%20workspaces%20all%20over%20again.
In the official documentation of `yarn`, it is stated that `.yarn/install-state.gz` is an optimization file that developer shouldn't ever have to commit. However, currently, when running `create-next-app`, `.yarn/install-state.gz` is being commited.

### Remaining work
I apologize for only modifying one template initially to initiate the discussion first.

If this change is agreed upon, it should be synchronized with other `.gitignore` templates. Would it be possible to follow a similar approach as in https://github.com/vercel/next.js/pull/47241? I would appreciate any assistance in syncing this change.

JTaylor0196andGitHub f7baa56792 update example Deploy button URLs (#48842)
### What?
Updates Deploy button URLs for all listed examples here:
https://github.com/vercel/next.js/tree/canary/examples

### Why?
The Deploy URLs are currently broken and result in a failed clone
attempt on Vercel.

### How?
The URLs have been changed from https://vercel.com/new/git/external?… to
-> https://vercel.com/new/clone?…

3ad55721d1 Remove incorrect entries for pnpm debug log (#47241)
**Reasons for making this change:**

- it is contained within `node_modules/`, which is already ignored
- the previous versions, which were not in `node_modules/`, did not have
a period at the beginning of the filename

Links to documentation supporting these rule changes:

Strategized with @balazsorban44 to open one larger PR, with changes to individual examples as separate commits.

For each example, I researched how multiple realworld codebases use the featured technology with TypeScript, to thoughtfully convert them by hand - nothing automated whatsoever.

StevenandGitHub 9f9214abe5 Updated create-next-app docs to include pnpm usage (#35755)
This PR updates the docs and examples for `create-next-app` to include pnpm usage.

The following script was used to update every example README:

```js
const fs = require('fs')
const examples = fs.readdirSync('./examples')
for (let example of examples) {
    const filename = `./examples/${example}/README.md`
    const markdown = fs.readFileSync(filename, 'utf8')
    const regex = new RegExp(`^yarn create next-app --example (.*)$`, 'gm')
    const output = markdown.replace(regex, (yarn, group) => {
        const pnpm = `pnpm create next-app -- --example ${group}`
        return `${yarn}\n# or\n${pnpm}`
    })
    fs.writeFileSync(filename, output)
}
```

Changed the README structure in all examples to take out the Stackblitz button and include it as a link instead using a [bash script](https://gist.github.com/Nutlope/a8f3556a5a401e32a8c6278b782ebf8a/revisions).

I also added the Vercel deploy button to 15 READMEs that didn't have it.
