[`httpxy`](https://github.com/unjs/httpxy) is a faster and actively maintained variant of `http-proxy`. It also doesn't need any manual patches to avoid security vulnerabilities in Next.js. `httpxy` is used by Nuxt and maintained by the Nitro team.
