The MIT notice said 2026 only. This repo's root commit is7783127f8a, authored 2016-01-14 by zeekay <[email protected]> — Zach Kelling, founder — and commits land under 2016, 2017, 2018, 2024 and 2026, through2133674on 2026-08-03. A 2026-only line understates our own priority by a decade, so the span now matches the history that establishes it. LICENSE-MIT is the only file in the tree carrying a copyright year. LICENSE-APACHE is the verbatim Apache-2.0 text and keeps its unfilled "Copyright [yyyy] [name of copyright owner]" appendix placeholder; it still hashes tod645695673.
