This pull request primarily updates the usage of OpenTelemetry semantic conventions to the latest `go.opentelemetry.io/otel/semconv/v1.27.0` package and refactors code to ensure proper type usage and error handling. It also makes minor improvements to test and helper code by explicitly handling errors and updating struct initializations for clarity and correctness.
