this ensures specific package manager versions are being selected

* test: remove yarn cache files from yarn-3 test

* test: adding node types explicitly to avoid ts build failure

was actually using yarn 4

* test: fix yarn 2 node_modules example

* test: snapshot update

* test: adding yarn cache back in

* test: adding yarn 2 cache

fails without the cache dir, which is a separate issue we need to fix
