Every author block and the authorship standard said Los Angeles; Hanzo has
been in San Francisco since at least 2016. The five catalogue PDFs whose
sources changed are rebuilt so papers.hanzo.ai says so too.

Sequel to HIP-0106. The unified binary removed the mesh and the
container-per-service tax, and accidentally bought a shared link: editing one
line in one of 107 applications costs the same as editing all of them.
Measured, warm, same tree and machine:
monolith 4,347 pkgs 20.23 s 5.6 GB 497.1 MB
plugin 646 pkgs 2.11 s 0.63 GB 43.3 MB
host 313 pkgs 0.65 s 0.31 GB 25.4 MB
A one-app rebuild is 9.6x faster and takes 8.9x less memory, and the host does
not rebuild at all. The monolith's 19.49 s no-op rebuild is the proof that the
cost was never in the edited code.
Also reports the larger finding: one outward-only import put 1,154 packages —
every k8s, aws, grpc and container SDK — beneath all 107 applications. Inverting
it and one Kubernetes client took the shared floor from 1,798 to 644.
States the limits honestly: 83 cross-app import edges remain, several
process-global couplings would break silently rather than loudly across a
process boundary, and the numbers are warm-cache single-machine developer-loop
figures, not CI throughput.
