SDK generation is well-established. OpenAPI Generator \cite{openapi2019} provides multi-language generation but often produces non-idiomatic code. Stripe \cite{stripe2019sdk} maintains hand-crafted SDKs with high quality but significant maintenance cost. AWS SDKs \cite{aws2019sdk} use Smithy for specification-driven generation.
