TypeScript 7 is the native Go compiler; the npm package is a shim resolving a platform-specific native binary. turbo drives per-package bundlers, so tsc is typecheck-only here and no published artifact changes. Gated on the package turbo actually builds, not the repo-root config — that root is a settings base nothing compiles, and running tsc against it sweeps apps/, templates/ and deprecated/ for a meaningless six-figure count. pkgs/ui: 92 -> 92 errors, so the compiler swap introduces nothing new.
