The motivation of this CL is to eliminate the over-use of the GetsockoptInt which is used on every single Unix host socket write path, which being a host syscall is expensive. When the fsgofer establishes a connection via AF_UNIX, it duplicates the host FD which is entirely donated to the sentry, and drops the original. Thus the sentry is the sole owner of the FD and the SO_PASSCRED status will never change. For this path however, SO_PASSCRED isn't even enabled in the first place. For hostfs, the sentry directly creates the host FDs. For fdimport on runsc startup, the donated FDs may have SO_PASSCRED enabled, so caching the value of SO_PASSCRED covers that eventuality. After donating the duplicates, the original FDs are closed. PiperOrigin-RevId: 930655624
