typescript 7.0.2 is the native compiler and exports no JavaScript API, so next and the twoslash highlighter cannot read it. next 16.1.1 does not recognize a bare 7 pin as installed and runs an unsolicited `pnpm add -D typescript`, so 7.0.2 comes in aliased as tsgo and does the typechecking while typescript stays on the 6 line, which next reads cleanly. The new typecheck script reports 0 diagnostics, the same as tsc 5.9.3 did, once the side-effect CSS imports get the ambient declaration TS7 now demands. Co-authored-by: Hanzo Dev <[email protected]>
