PQZ Cross-Chain Parallelism
Theorem family: Running multiple DAG consensus instances side-by-side
(one per chain: C/X/Z/Q/D/A/O/R/S) does not compromise the per-chain
safety or liveness properties, even when chains share validators or
Quasar-stamp finality layers.
Informal statement:
Let the Lux multi-chain be a collection of independent DAGs
{D_c : c ∈ Chains}
each with its own conflict predicate conflicts_c and its own
finality function finalise_c. Let V be the shared validator set.
Claim:
The joint system evolves as the Cartesian product of the per-chain
state machines. Any safety / liveness / no-double-spend property
proved for one chain in isolation lifts to the joint system
unchanged.
This is the formal sanity check that the PQZ architecture — P-Chain
validators, Q-Chain Quasar finality, Z-Chain ZK privacy, plus all
other DAG chains — can run in parallel on the same validators without
cross-chain interference.
Theorems:
1. `noCrossChainConflict` : per-chain conflict relations are
disjoint at the state level; a vertex
of chain C cannot conflict with a
vertex of chain Z.
2. `independentFinality` : finalising one chain's antichain does
not require finalising another's.
3. `quasarStampsParallel` : Quasar certificates on different chain
antichains are independently generated.
4. `productSafety` : joint state safety = conjunction of
per-chain safeties.
5. `validatorNonInterference` : a validator can participate in N
chains concurrently; the only shared
resource is signature bandwidth, which
batch-verifies linearly in chain count.
