The Clear BSD requires the copyright notice travel with the source; it does not require it sit on the licence face. It is in NOTICE now, naming the original holder with the year this repository states and ours beside it for the modifications. LICENSE carries the terms and nothing else. Where the text had a party name substituted into the template placeholders - the endorsement clause, the warranty disclaimer, the liability limit - it reads the canonical wording again, so the holders are whoever NOTICE lists. No term changed. NOTICE also records what the licence withholds: no patent rights.
