typescript 7.0.2 is the native compiler and exports no JavaScript API, so next 15.5 cannot read it — its tsconfig setup dies on an undefined ModuleKind. It comes in aliased as tsgo and does the typechecking; typescript stays on the 6 line for next. 0 diagnostics before and after. css.d.ts declares the side-effect stylesheet import that 7 reports as TS2882; it is neutral on 6.
