zeekay f2a543133e Keep a hop's parent after rewriting its header
traceOf read the caller's ids as slices of a view over the header
buffer, then rewrote that buffer in place: every shipped span named
itself as its parent, and once the connection served its next request
the span carried that request's trace id.

zeekay 55db4f138b Let a host name the span a call continues
A host that keeps spans in its own tracer opens positions zip never
sees: a span inside a handler, or work that outlives its request. An
outbound call then names the request, or nothing, as its parent, and
the callee's spans land beside the span that caused them.
