typescript 7.0.2 is the native compiler and exports no JavaScript API, so next
16.0 and typescript-eslint cannot read it — next reports the package as missing
and runs an unsolicited install mid-build, and typescript-eslint refuses TS 7
outright. It comes in aliased as tsgo and does the typechecking; typescript
stays on the 6 line for them. docs reports the same 23 diagnostics under both
compilers and site 0, once a css.d.ts in each declares the side-effect imports
of global.css that TS7 no longer takes on faith, and site's baseUrl becomes a
relative paths mapping.
