\Zoo{} 4.0 activates on February 14, 2026, alongside \Lux{}
\Quasar{} 4.0 (\textsc{lp-020} + \textsc{lp-135}) and the per-\LLM{}
chain framework \cite{zoo-per-llm-chains}.

\subsection{Phase 0 --- spec freeze (2026-01-15)}

This paper, the \Zoo{} \DEX{} ZIP, the \Zoo{} L1 graduation ZIP, the
\Zoo{} AI Desktop ZIP, the \texttt{zoo-bot} ZIP, and the \Zoo{} Bridge
ZIP all freeze on 2026-01-15. After this date, only spec-clarification
PRs are accepted; behaviour-changing PRs slip to 4.1.

\subsection{Phase 1 --- testnet bring-up (2026-01-15 through 2026-02-07)}

\Zoo{} 4.x continues to ship features incrementally without breaking
the spec freeze in this paper. The next planned milestone is the
\Zoo{} \DEX{} native securities launch on April 20, 2026, with
regulated securities-partner integration \cite{zoo-dex-launch}, at which
point \Zoo{} 4.0 picks up tokenised securities trading, native
fixed income, and tokenised derivatives without a chain-level fork.
