Bylines, paper authorship, correspondence addresses and the founder blurb under
each post named an individual. They name the organisation that published the
work instead: the brand on posts and pages, the research byline on papers, and
research@ in place of a personal address. Both are what these repositories
already used elsewhere — nothing new was coined.

Co-authors are untouched. Where a paper named someone else alongside, they stay
named; only the one byline changed. Bibliography entries, running heads,
PDF metadata and affiliations move with it, so a citation still resolves to
whoever the cited paper names.

Sample and fixture data uses the placeholder name these tests already use
elsewhere, so no assertion changed meaning.

\section{Conclusion}
\label{sec:conclusion}
We have presented the Zoo Data Commons, a decentralized biodiversity data repository implementing FAIR-native data objects, provenance-preserving storage on IPFS, and sovereign access control.
Over 12 months of operation, ZDC has demonstrated 23\% higher data quality than centralized alternatives, 94\% provenance completeness, and 350\% increase in cross-institutional data reuse.
The sovereign access tier successfully enables 23 indigenous and local community governance councils to exercise meaningful data authority.
ZDC is specified as ZIP-009 and deployed as open infrastructure.
Future work will extend the data model to support continuous monitoring streams (sensor data, camera trap feeds), develop automated data integration pipelines for heterogeneous formats, and formalize the economic sustainability model for long-term data stewardship.
