Bylines, paper authorship, correspondence addresses and the founder blurb under each post named an individual. They name the organisation that published the work instead: the brand on posts and pages, the research byline on papers, and research@ in place of a personal address. Both are what these repositories already used elsewhere — nothing new was coined. Co-authors are untouched. Where a paper named someone else alongside, they stay named; only the one byline changed. Bibliography entries, running heads, PDF metadata and affiliations move with it, so a citation still resolves to whoever the cited paper names. Sample and fixture data uses the placeholder name these tests already use elsewhere, so no assertion changed meaning. Co-authored-by: Hanzo Dev <[email protected]>

\noindent Biodiversity loss accelerates: roughly one million species face extinction within decades. Contemporary AI and blockchain tooling remains inaccessible to conservation work. \textbf{Zoo Labs Foundation Inc} (zoolabs.io) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research organization applying AI and blockchain to conservation, education, and open research. This October 2021 mission statement introduces our founding vision: an \emph{agentic metaverse of endangered animals}, where AI-powered digital twins of threatened species live on-chain, generate yield through real-world asset collateralization, and channel revenue to wildlife sanctuaries through a transparent DAO. The program has three research pillars: (1) \textbf{Conservation AI}---digital preservation of genetic heritage through genomic sequencing, computational biology, and population dynamics modeling; (2) \textbf{Educational AI}---lowering the cost of advanced model training and open access to frontier capabilities; and (3) \textbf{Frontier AI}---experience-ledger and training-free optimization research with decentralized governance for auditable model evolution. This paper articulates the foundation's initial technical program and operating model as of October 2021; subsequent papers document the evolution of each pillar through 2024.
