Superseded: the Hanzo GitHub App pushes a webhook, so the forge tracks GitHub without a per-repo workflow. This file called git.hanzo.ai/api/v1/.../mirror-sync — a Gitea API for a system we no longer drive — and would sit inert in every repo. One mechanism, in one place, instead of ~350 copies of a cron.
PromptSage
PromptSage is a lightweight Mac menu bar app that helps you craft perfect AI prompts. It observes when you're writing in any AI tool (web or native app) and offers to enhance your prompt before submission.

System Requirements
- macOS 13.0 (Monterey) or later
- Internet connection (for cloud LLM providers)
- Accessibility permissions (required for text monitoring)
Installation
- Download the latest release from the Releases page
- Move PromptSage.app to your Applications folder
- Launch the app and follow the setup instructions
- Grant Accessibility permissions when prompted
Quick Start Guide
Using Environment Variables for API Keys
PromptSage can use API keys from environment variables:
OPENAI_API_KEY- For OpenAI (GPT-3.5, GPT-4, etc.)ANTHROPIC_API_KEY- For Anthropic Claude modelsGOOGLE_API_KEY- For Google Gemini models
For convenience, you can use the included launcher script that will prompt for your API keys and set the appropriate environment variables:
# Run the launcher script
./run_prompt_sage.sh
Manual Configuration
You can also configure API keys directly in the app:
- Click the PromptSage icon in the menu bar
- Select "Preferences..."
- Go to the "LLM Settings" tab
- Choose your preferred LLM provider
- Enter your API key

Building from Source
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/promptsage/promptsage.git
cd promptsage
- Open the project in Xcode:
open PromptSage.xcodeproj
- Build the project (⌘B) or run (⌘R)
Development Notes
- Use local development with Ollama for testing without API keys
- The app uses macOS Accessibility APIs for text monitoring
- API keys can be set in environment variables for development
