E2E installs its browsers into node_modules
The lockfile pins Playwright 1.58.2; the runner image carries 1.58.0's chromium in /opt/playwright, read-only to the job, so installing the pinned build failed with EACCES there. PLAYWRIGHT_BROWSERS_PATH=0 puts it in node_modules, which the job owns, on any runner. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <[email protected]>
