status: is one word for a whole proposal. It cannot say that Go has a thing and Rust does not, so a ZIP may now also carry implementation-go, implementation-cpp and implementation-rust, each reading shipped, partial or none. The keys are flat and hyphenated because frontmatter() reads one line at a time: a nested block under implementation: would be invisible to it, and a claim the check cannot see is a claim nothing checks. An absent key means nobody has assessed that runtime. none means somebody read it and found nothing. The index counts the two apart, and every ZIP is unassessed today, which is what it reports. The run refuses a word outside the three, and refuses status: Final alongside implementation-go: none, because Final says the thing a ZIP specifies exists in the code and both cannot hold at once. docs/lib/source.ts declared seven statuses, five of which no ZIP has ever carried, and left out Living, which eleven carry. Two badge maps, two ternary chains, a search result and four stat tiles each repeated that list, so a Living ZIP rendered as unknown everywhere and a tile counted Review, which is nothing at all. All of them now name what the corpus carries. The category union named six of the eleven in use, and index.py checks that list too, so the twelfth has to be a decision rather than a surprise. """Derive the README index from the ZIP frontmatter, and refuse to do it quietly.

The frontmatter in ZIPs/zip-NNNN-*.md is the only source of truth for a ZIP's

number, title, type and status. Every other rendering of those facts -- the
README table here, the pages the site builds from lib/source.ts -- is derived.

Run with no arguments to rewrite the README table. Run with --check to verify

the committed table matches the corpus; CI uses that and fails if it drifted.

The checks below exist because the previous generators had none: they were last

run when the corpus held 16 ZIPs and went on reporting success against 156.
